History
Broker, Chris Gruenwald, started Chapalajara Real Estate in 2012 wth a partner. The company quickly grew even though the housing market at Lake Chapala was going through what locals would call a slump. In 2015, during a restructuring for the sake of expansion, the two partners decided to part ways and each grow in their own direction. Chris Gruenwald re-named his share of the company to Biencom and provide a complete one-stop all inclusive real estate service for both Foreign and Mexican buyers and sellers.
Chris Gruenwald has been living in Mexico since 2003, and has been a top producing sales agent and broker in the Lake Chapala area since 2006. Chris originates from a mult-national background and has lived around the world. He became a super agent at a now extinct brokerage and has been building a Real Estate team of top agents, closers and rental administrators since 2008. While the Biencom commercial name is new, the all inclusive Real Estate service concept is tried and proven and the experience the Biencom team provides is unique amongst Mexican Real Estate borkerages.

Born in Frankfurt, Germany, raised in sunny San Diego, California and happily settled at Lake Chapala, Mexico, Chris brings to the table over ten years of real estate experience and a extensive mixture of the three cultures which aids and abets in all negotiations. Having grown up in the real estate ignited a passion for the business at a young age. When he first came to Mexico in 2004, Chris immediately developed a love for his newfound country and a drive to share his knowledge with others looking to move. From questions as basic as "what do I need to buy a house in Chapala?" to more complex inquiries on Commercial Real Estate investing in Guadalajara, Chris provides the information that you want with the professionalism that you expect. Our experience with Biencom
My wife and I visited the area for 4 years before finally being in a position to make a permanent move the the Lake Chapala area. Chris Gruenwald and Christien Perez were amazing in our search for the right property. We had property that we had to deal with in Canada prior to making a commitment to move lock, stock and barrel to the area. These two gentlemen assisted in our search (patiently) for 4 years. When we finally arrived end of October, 2012, “our” house was waiting for us. We viewed only three more properties and made a decision within two days of being here. Kudos to Biencom.
